Air fryer cheesy bites with cranberry sauce

Who can resist a cheesy party nibble? These are super simple to make - thanks to the air fryer and a simple dip of cranberry sauce! If you want, you can prep these a day ahead, cover and keep in the fridge until you’re ready to go! Don’t have breadcrumbs? Try coating with your favourite (flavoured) crisps, crushed up.

Ingredients

12 Babybel light cheese (wax covering removed)
75g - 100g panko breadcrumbs
2 eggs, beaten
3 tbsp flour
1 tsp onion or garlic powder
Pinch of salt
Pinch of dried herbs

Recipe

  1. Heat your air fryer to 200c.

  2. Set up three bowls. Add the flour to the first. The beaten egg, to the second. And the breadcrumbs, salt, dried herbs and onion/garlic powder to the last one, giving it a quick stir to combine all the seasoning.

  3. In stages, coat each Babybel first in the flour, then in the egg mix, then in the breadcrumbs. Set aside and repeat with the remaining cheese.

  4. Carefully place the coated cheese in the airfryer basket (try not to let them touch) and cook for 5 minutes.

  5. Serve the cheesy bites with cranberry sauce as a dip.
