Tesco are an avid supporter of Love Food Hate Waste and have worked with us on many initiatives to help colleagues and customers to make the most of the food they buy.

Tesco added Love Food Hate Waste endorsed top tips to selected lines in their Perfectly Imperfect range of fresh ‘wonky’ produce. The handy hints provide customers with new ideas and inspiration to ensure that the food is enjoyed and not wasted. The Perfectly Imperfect range offers customers the opportunity to buy fruit and veg that was previously outside of Tesco’s specifications at a great value price. They may look a little bit wonky but they’re perfectly good to eat.

Mark Little, Head of Sustainability, Sourcing and Waste Policy at Tesco, says:

"At Tesco, we are helping customers reduce food waste through improved packaging, stopping Buy One Get One Free promotions on fruit and vegetables, and putting Love Food Hate Waste tips on our Perfectly Imperfect range. Love Food Hate Waste is a much needed campaign, and we’re committed to working together to help our customers reduce waste and save money.”
