This recipe is good for children!
This is a healthy pudding ideal for using up pears, apples, oranges and lemons that may be left in the fruit bowl. Serve warm as a light pudding with Greek yogurt, or eat chilled with a bowl of muesli for a health start to the day.

Great in buns, cakes, and puddings.
The French version of soured cream, it's twice as rich, and thicker than the British version of sour cream.
A fresh apple is the ideal, healthy snack for children, easy to carry, filling, juicy and refreshing. Some varieties are a good source of vitamin C, which is an antioxidant and helps maintain the immune system. Apples are also relatively low in calories and contain a high proportion of fructose. This simple sugar is metabolised slowly, and so helps control blood sugar levels.

That looks & sounds delicious. I love to buy pears when they're crunchy as I love them like that, but when I buy a them by the bucket which is the cheapest way to buy them at my local fruit market, I end up with too much & then they do end up being over-ripe which I dont like too much. I either chop them up & put in my cereal or chop them up & mix with some other fruit as fruit salad. Seeing that recipe opened up my eyes as to what to do with my over-ripe pears & other fruit. Now I know a way to use them up & what a delicious way too!
Just made this for dinner - it was delicious!
