Spicy Warm Fruit Salad

Great for kids

This recipe is good for using up bits of fruits that are past their best and are not quite good enough for fresh fruit salad. Almost any fruit can be used such as mangoes, apricots, pineapple, peaches, nectarines, grapes, and kiwi fruits. Delicious served warm with vanilla ice cream or serve on top of your morning cereal.

Health Note

The banana has the best designed packaging that nature can provide – a bright yellow waterproof zip-up jacket! It is high in vitamin C and is a good source of fibre and potassium. Kiwis are very high in vitamin C and are a good source of vitamin E too. Try to include a wide variety of fruits in your diet as they can help maintain a healthy weight and help reduce the risk of heart disease, stroke and some cancers.
