Pear and Plum Chutney

Ingredients

  • 1 pear, peeled, cored and diced
  • 3 plums, stoned and diced
  • 2 tablespoons muscavado sugar
  • 3 tablespoons water
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice

Instructions

  1. Put all the ingredients into a pan and bring to the boil, simmer for about 15 minutes.

    Delicious! I added some red onion and a sack of spices (cloves, black peppercorns, coriander seeds), and I added more water and let it simmer away for a while. It was a great thing to do with my old plums.
