Lamb Lovers Hate Waste. I love my lamb leftovers. Kept in the fridge, they're good for two days and great in a thick sandwich with lots of mint sauce. Job done.
If you have fresh herbs in the fridge that are going to go off, chop and sprinkle into ice cube trays, top with water, freeze and then put cubes into bags. Great for adding to soups, pasta sauces and stews.
Freeze any meat left over from a roast, like beef, pork and lamb to use at a later date in a tasty curry.
Double up on your family favourites. Make a big batch of Bolognese sauce, flavour half with chilli and make the other half into a Shepherd’s Pie. Have one for dinner and freeze the other for later.
