Try not cooking at all two evenings a week. Have fresh cut vegetables with healthy dips and nutty brown rolls... More
Kent is known worldwide as the 'Garden of England.' Our high quality fruit and vegetables are enjoyed and savoured across the country and it's always sad when such tasty and wonderful food goes to waste. All of Kent's 14 Councils, together known as Kent Waste Partnership, are supporting the Love Food Hate Waste campaign by helping Kent's residents to save around £50 a month on their food shopping bill and help the environment too.
The Kent Waste Partnership is also working closely with Produced in Kent, an organisation that promotes local and seasonal produce and runs the prestigious Taste of Kent Awards. This year there is a brand new Love Food Hate Waste Business Award to go to a local business that has implemented a food waste reduction scheme significantly reducing the carbon footprint of that company.
