I got so fed up with buying loads of shopping for a week at a time and finding that my two teenage daughters would go out to dinner and not tell me in advance that I set a new rule. Firstly, I now buy food every day, and the girls have got to tell me if they are eating at home or not. If they change their arrangements, tough cookie! they eat what they can find in the fridge. It works!! My shopping bills have halved!
