Whilst the majority of waste such as banana skins etc you can composte I keep leftovers and slightly stale bread etc for my 2 hens. If you dont live on a housing estate they are so easy to keep, fun and the ideal recycling vehicle - you give them tasty titbits from the kitchen and they give you eggs - fantatsic!
