I try not to waste food at all stale bread is made into bread and butter pudding (apricot jam and almond version) or bread pudding.The rest is made into breadcrumbs and stored in the freezer,these have so many uses e.g breadsauce, topping for macaroni cheese, or other au gratin dishes,coating homemade chicken nuggets are only a few .Of course I also feed some to the birds.Any leftovers that cannot be recycled are fed either to our hens or our three dogs.
