Having lived the early 27 years of my life in India, I have learnt how not to waste food or indeed anything. When I moved to UK I was shocked to see the food wastage- food that could very easily be re-cooked into an innovative dish. Restaurants are the worst ones- throwing away seemingly " imperfect" foods. In our restaurant we recycle oils, distribute leftover food to staff, friends, family and animals. We compost vegetables as well. I will continue to promote this kind of lifestyle to those who come in contact with me. Good work for highlighting food wastage publicly.
