I can't stand waste and more needs to be done to make this a standard. Having recently started on a veg box scheme I have found we waste nothing - not only does it taste better, but it comes so fresh that it never goes off before you get a chance to use it anyway - and the peelings etc go straight into the compost, if everyone did this perhaps we would all notice the change!
