I was bought up not to waste food (..thousands of starving children would give there right arm for that..) A good way is by not cooking to much in the first place, if youve bought a joint, thats larger than needed, cut some off & freeze it, to make a stew or caserole another day. That way theres less left-overs & you won't get tiered of eating the same thing for 3-4 days! I regularly use leftovers to make a lovely broth, pies are also a good way to use up spare food. Other scraps feed the birds, foxes, horses & dogs.
