Life is so busy these days that people don't feel they have the time to cook things from scratch. People have lost the ability to cook aswell, and if they don't understand food then their children won't either. School allotments and cooking classes should be encouraged and lots of quick dinner recipes published all over - like the public service announcements there used to be on tele!
