I loathe waste. I’m too mean. My advice is go to your local butchers and your local bakery. For a start, they’re cheaper and you don’t end up buying as much. The problem with shopping at supermarkets is the temptation. The bigger the trolley the more you put into it. Shop little and often. And have a good store cupboard.
