Proper food storing techniques can save you money. The average household throws out about a quarter of its fresh fruit and vegetables. Seal them in bags with a moist paper towel. Also, if you aren’t going to use them right away, store meats in the freezer. Keep eggs in the carton and in the back of the fridge, and store milk in a glass container to keep it fresh.
