Having had a radical reduction in income a couple of years ago, we now just go to our local market and buy for the week, and we tend to have an empty fridge at the end...but inevitably bits get left over (cabbage from the roast, etc) so it's great to have a resource for 'how to use things up' with interesting recipes instead of the usual 'leftovers' mishmash. I love your list of store cupboard & fridge/freezer staples - everything you need to give a meal that extra zing!
