The Lakelands Stay Fresh bags REALLY do work - esp with courgettes and cucumbers - they will stay really fresh for weeks. Not so good for herbs or mushrooms, but great for nearly anything else: lettuce, peppers, celery, etc. Just make sure the veg is nice and fresh and dry when bagging and get rid of most of the air in the bag before twisty-tying it.
