I really try never to throw food out. Every weekend I clear out the vegetables that have not been used the previous week by making soup - it usually ends up predominantly green and in fact is referred to by the family as "the pot of green" - I like to think affectionately! It is always delicious - great Saturday lunch with crusty bread.
