If we can't eat it, the dog eats it. If the dog won't eat it, the wormery eats it. If the worms won't eat it the compost bin will...we don't throw any food waste away at all. Ever since signing up for an organic box scheme I avoid the supermarkets and have tried so many new recipes and ideas with vegetables I would never have thought of buying before...but every week is like Christmas, I'm never sure of what vegetables I'm going to get and it's great fun coming up with recipe ideas and different meals and figuring out how to 'disguise' cabbage in soup or bubble & squeak because my partner hates the stuff.
