I think that in the current economic environment, lots of families are having to make savings, and lovefoodhatewaste is an excellent forum for the exchange of ideas on how to use up excess food. What I would like to see in a more wider field is the big manufacturers and supermarkets taking the lead when it comes to the packaging of foods - do we really need all the plastic boxes, cartons, wrapping and bags? Why can't we go back to using plain paper bags?
