Add your voice

It frustrates me like crazy that people don't make the effort to use up their leftovers and then complain about, debts and bills, etc. Yesterday we had a lovely Sunday dinner, the leftovers of which are giving us yummy chicken sandwiches today, homemade cauliflower and mushroom soup tonight and then a melange of potatoes with onion, bacon and green beans tomorrow, which I can just put in the oven to heat up whilst I do the ironing. I think part of the problem is that people have gone gourmet mad and feel that they've only cooked something if they have followed a recipe to the letter. It's great fun to look in your cupboards and fridge and go...hmmmm! What can I make out of this. Make it a game. It's your own episode of Ready, Steady, Cook!
