It really shocked me when I actually thought about what food I had been throwing away. I would throw out a whole batch of vegetables if only one item was going a bit mouldy in a pack or looked a bit wilted. With a little bit of thought I am now using these items up in soups and stews and when buying veggies if I think I am not going to use a whole bag I cut up into portions snd place in bags ready to freeze and just cook.
